Herring's PippinCulinary / Dessert apple Malus domestica Borkh.Thought to have been raised by Mr Herring of Lincoln. It was first recorded in 1908. Introduced by Pearson of Nottingham. Fruits have moderately firm, rather coarse-textured juicy flesh with a good aromatic almost aniseed flavour.
