Raised in about 1840 by Councillor Burchardt, Landsberg/Warthe, Brandenburg, Germany. It was awarded a First Class Certificate from the RHS in 1882. Fruits have soft, fine-textured very juicy flesh with a sweet and refreshing flavour.
