King CoxDessert apple Malus domestica Borkh.A more striped form of Cox's Orange Pippin. It was discovered by R.W. Giles at Perryfields, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. Received by the National Fruit Trials in 1959. Fruits are juicy and sweet with a rich aromatic, nutty flavour.
