Maglemer
Dessert apple
Malus domestica Borkh.
Thought to have originated at Maglemer, near Maribo in Lolland, Denmark. Introduced in about 1870 although known in the second half of the 1700s. Fruits have tender, white flesh with a slightly subacid flavour.
