Cornish Pine
Dessert apple
Malus domestica Borkh.
Thought to be a seedling of Cornish Gilliflower. It was raised at Exminster, Devon. First described in 1920. Fruits have soft, coarse flesh with a sweet, slightly subacid flavour.
