Ard Cairn Russet

Dessert apple

Malus domestica Borkh.

Discovered by Baylor Hartland in Cork, Ireland in about 1890. Received the Award of Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society in 1910. Fruits are firm, sweet with little juice. Flavour is slightly aromatic.
