Laxton's Early Gage

Dessert & Culinary plum

Prunus domestica L.

Raised at Bedford by Laxton Bros. and received by the National Fruit Trials in 1948 from them. Fruits have firm flesh and little juice with a subacid, little sweet and rich flavour.
