Chelmsford WonderCulinary apple Malus domestica Borkh.Raised near Chelmsford, Essex in about 1870 and introduced in 1890 by Saltmarsh. Received an Award of Merit and a First Class Certificate from the Royal Horticultural Society in 1891. Fruits have firm, fine-textured flesh which is juicy and subacid.
