Double-Red BaldwinDessert apple Malus domestica Borkh.A brighter coloured sport of Baldwin. It was discovered in 1924 by E.N. Sawyer in Salisbury, New Hampshire, USA. Introduced in 1927. Fruits have coarse-textured, juicy flesh with a sweet, subacid flavour.
