Malus domestica Borkh.

Thought to be a sport of Antonovka. It was discovered by I.V. Michurin in Mogilev, Russia in 1888. Introduced in 1892. It produces larger fruit than Antonovka. Fruits have softish flesh with a subacid flavour.
