Idaho Delicious

Dessert apple

Malus domestica Borkh.

A tetraploid form of Delicious. Received by the National Fruit Trials from U.S.A. in 1965. Fruits have very firm, fine-textured juicy flesh which is very sweet with a highly aromatic flavour. Very tough skin.
