Madresfield CourtDessert apple Malus domestica Borkh.Thought to have been raised by William Crump. First exhibited in 1915. It was introduced by J. Carless of Worcester, England. Received an Award of Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society in 1915. Fruits have firm, a little coarse-textured, juicy flesh with a sweet and pleasant aromatic flavour. Tends to be a rather shy cropper.
