Dessert apple

Malus domestica Borkh.

Raised at the Central Experiment Farm, Ottawa, Canada. Received by the National Fruit Trials in 1927. Fruits have firm, crisp, white, tender, juicy flesh with a fairly sweet and distinctive moderate flavour.
