OntarioCulinary / Dessert apple Malus domestica Borkh.Raised by Charles Arnold at Paris, Ontario, Canada in about 1820. Received the Award of Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society in 1898. Fruits have crisp, juicy flesh with a subacid flavour. Cooks well, breaking up completely. Tends to bruise easily.
