Dessert apple

Malus domestica Borkh.

Raised in 1947 at the National Fruit Trials, Wisley. Received a First Class Certificate from the Royal Horticultural Society in 1972. Fruits have crisp, fairly juicy flesh with a good aromatic flavour.
