Rambour PapeleuCulinary / Dessert apple Malus domestica Borkh.Raised by N.A. Hartwiss, Director of the Botanic Gardens at Nikita, Crimea, Russia. Introduced in about 1853 to Belgium by Aldolphe Papeleu, nurseryman of Wetteren. Fruits have firm, crisp, fine, creamy white flesh with a sweet subacid flavour.
