Red Martini

Dessert apple

Malus domestica Borkh.

A more highly coloured clone of Martini. Originated with Mr Peters in Wenzendorf near Hamburg, Germany. Received by the National Fruit Trials in about 1938. Fruits have firm, crisp, creamy white flesh with a subacid, sweet flavour.
