Reinette Descardre

Dessert apple

Malus domestica Borkh.

Raised in about 1820 by Benoit Descardre, nurseryman of Chenee, Belgium. Introduced in about 1834. Fruits have tender, pale yellow flesh with a sweet, subacid and perfumed flavour.
