Renetta Grigia di Torriana

Dessert apple

Malus domestica Borkh.

A chance seedling which originated in Torriana di Barge, Cuneo, West Piedmont, Italy. First propagated by Recco Francesco and first distributed in about 1905. Fruits have tender, yellow flesh with a sweet and perfumed flavour.
