Richardson (Ireland)Dessert apple Malus domestica Borkh.Grafts were taken in about 1900 and brought to England in 1930 from Bessborough, Co. Kilkenny, Ireland by T.E. Tomalin, from the orchard of Richardson. Fruits have firm, crisp, fine, white flesh with a slightly acid flavour.
