Dessert apple

Malus domestica Borkh.

A coloured sport of Tonnes. Originated with Rasmus Roed, Kolbjerk Mark, Denmark. In existence in 1942. Fruits have rather soft, fine, creamy white flesh with a sweet, slightly subacid and slightly aromatic flavour.
