Schoner von Nordhausen

Dessert apple

Malus domestica Borkh.

Raised in the early 1800s in the garden of Kaiser, Nordhausen, Germany. Introduced in 1892. Fruits have fine, moderately firm, yellowish white flesh with a sweet, subacid flavour.
