Dessert apple

Malus domestica Borkh.

Raised by D.W. Thomson, Edinburgh, Scotland. Received by the National Fruit Trials in 1923. Received an award from the Royal Caledonian Society some years before 1923. Fruits have tender, greenish white flesh with a subacid and a little bitter flavour.
