Dessert apple

Malus domestica Borkh.

Raised by Miss E.L. Young, Letchworth, Hertfordshire. Received by the National Fruit Trials in 1935. Fruits have firm, fairly tender, white flesh with a subacid to sweet, slightly aromatic flavour.
