Culinary plum
Thought to be of German origin. It was received by the National Fruit Trials in 1951 from Obstbauversuchsanstalt Jork, Germany. It is self-fertile. Fruits have firm, not very juicy, green to golden flesh. Flavour is acid and a little sweet and intensely flavoured. A damson type but lacks the full damson flavour.
