Belgian Purple

Culinary & Jamming plum

Prunus domestica L.

Thought to have originated in Belgium in about 1850. It was introduced to England by Rivers' nurseries, Sawbridgeworth. Fruits have greenish, firm flesh which is very juicy and rather sweet.
