Ersinger Fruhzwetsche

Culinary plum

Thought to be of German origin. Received by the National Fruit Trials in 1948 from the Research Centre, Pont-de-la-Maye, France. Fruits have firm, juicy flesh with a very sweet and fairly rich flavour.
