Bonne d'Ezee

Dessert pear

Pyrus communis L.

Discovered in 1788 as a seedling at Ezee, Tourraine, France. First brought to notice by M. Dupuy, a nurseryman at Loches. Fruits have white, coarse-grained, slightly gritty but juicy flesh with a pleasant perfumed flavour.
