Archduke

Culinary plum

Prunus domestica L.

Raised at Thomas Rivers' nurseries, Sawbridgeworth and introduced in 1883. Flesh is greenish-yellow, often tinged with red and coarse textured. Flavour is fair and delicious when cooked.
