Culinary plum

Prunus cerasifera Ehrh.

Possibly Prunus cerasifera. Originally selected from the wild by the Arabs in Algeria and introduced into France by Luizet in 1887. Fruits have pale golden, medium soft flesh which is extremely juicy. Flavour is rather watery.
