Culinary plum
Raised by Laxton Bros., at Bedford and sent by them to Wisley in 1915. Awarded the Award of Merit by the Royal Horticultural Society in 1911. Self-fertile. Fruits have firm, juicy flesh with a subacid but poor flavour.
