Culinary plum

Prunus domestica L.

Thought to be of Belgium origin. It was received by the National Fruit Trials in 1951 from the Station de Recherches, Ghent, Belgium. Fruits have soft and not very juicy flesh with a moderately sweet and poor flavour.
