Zimmers Fruhzwetsche

Culinary plum

Prunus domestica L.

Originally found in the garden of Leonard Zimmer in Lauf bei Buhl, Germany in 1900. It was received by the National Fruit Trials in 1932 from L. Spath, Berlin. Fruits have firm, little juicy flesh with an acid flavour.
