Red Benoni

Dessert apple

Malus domestica Borkh.

A more highly coloured clone of Benoni. Received by the National Fruit Trials in 1969 from the Netherlands. Fruits have tender, juicy flesh with a sweet and pleasant, moderately aromatic flavour.
